SOBHRAJ, CHARLES: The Real Serpent: Investigating a Serial Killer TV -
On 23rd December 2022 Charles Sobhraj, the suspected serial killer known as The Serpent, was released from prison in Nepal. He had served 19 years for murdering 2 backpackers in the 1970s. Sobhraj spent more than half his life in prisons across Asia and Europe. Many of his crimes targeted young travellers, drugging and robbing them.
