Prisoner number E19553 Ernie Clarke is now serving a life sentence in Wakefield Prison. Clarke was convicted three years ago of murdering and dismembering a young girl. Despite the elaborate investigation into Clarke’s case only one piece of evidence – this blue jumper – actually linked him with the crime. We have now produced new evidence which shows that this jumper had nothing to do with the killing and that Clarke should never have been convicted.
