Being driven and smitten by the hands of mine enemies, on whom I will pour out my wrath without measure in mine own time.
And whomsoever ye curse, I will curse, and ye shall avenge me of mine enemies.
And my presence shall be with you even in avenging me of mine enemies, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. Doctrine & Covenants 103:2&25&26
Therefore, inasmuch as some of my servants have not kept the commandment, but have broken the covenant through covetousness, and with feigned words, I have cursed them with a very sore and grievous curse. Doctrine & Covenants 104:4
Behold, the destroyer I have sent forth to destroy and lay waste mine enemies; and not many years hence they shall not be left to pollute mine heritage, and to blaspheme my name upon the lands which I have consecrated for the gathering together of my saints.
And after these lands are purchased, I will hold the armies of Israel guiltless in taking possession of their own lands, which they have previously purchased with their moneys, and of throwing down the towers of mine enemies that may be upon them, and scattering their watchmen, and avenging me of mine enemies unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. Doctrine & Covenants 105:15&30
Let thine anger be kindled against our enemies; and, in the fury of thine heart, with thy sword avenge us of our wrongs. Doctrine & Covenants 121:5
And I will answer judgment, wrath, and indignation, wailing, and anguish, and gnashing of teeth upon their heads, unto the third and fourth generation, so long as they repent not, and hate me, saith the Lord your God. Doctrine & Covenants 124:52
The angels do not reside on a planet like this earth;
But they reside in the presence of God, on a globe like a sea of glass and fire, where all things for their glory are manifest, past, present, and future, and are continually before the Lord.
The place where God resides is a great Urim and Thummim.
This earth, in its sactified and immortal state, will be made like unto crystal and will be a Urim and Thummim to the inhabitants who dwell thereon, whereby all things pertaining to an inferior kingdom, or all kingdoms of a lower order, will be manifest to those who dwell on it; and this earth will be Christ’s.
Then the white stone mentioned in Revelation 2:17, will become a Urim and Thummim to each individual who receives one, whereby things pertaining to a higher order of kingdoms will be made known;
And a white stone is given to each of those who come into the celestial kingdom, whereon is a new name written, which no man knoweth save he that receiveth it. The new name is the key word. Doctrine & Covenants 130:1-6
In the celestial glory there are three heavens or degrees;
And in order to obtain the highest, a man must enter into this order of the priesthood [meaning the new and everlasting covenant of marriage]; Doctrine & Covenants 131:1&2
Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you my servant Joseph, that inasmuch as you have inquired of my hand to know and understand wherein I, the Lord, justified my servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as also Moses, David and Solomon, my servants, as touching the principle and doctrine of their having many wives and concubines?
David also received many wives and concubines, and also Solomon and Moses my servants, as also many others of my servants, from the beginning of creation until this time; and in nothing did they sin save in those things which they received not of me.
David’s wives and concubines were given unto him of me ...
If any man espouse a virgin, and desire to espouse another, and the first give her consent, and if he espouse the second, and they are virgins, and have vowed to no other man, then he is justified; he cannot commit adultery with that that belonged unto him and to no one else. Doctrine & Covenants 132:1&38&39&63
For behold, I reveal unto you a new and an everlasting covenant; and if ye abide not that covenant, then are ye damned; for no one can reject this covenant and be permitted to enter into my glory.
And I command mine handmaid, Emma Smith, to abide and cleave unto my servant Joseph, and to none else. But if she will not abide this commandment she shall be destroyed, saith the Lord; for I am the Lord thy God, and will destroy her if she abide not in my law. Doctrine & Covenants 132:4&54

JOSEPH SMITH’S BOOK of MOSES: esias
The Book of Moses: A Plague of Pockheaded Plagiarism. esias
Allegedly ‘An extract from the translation of the Bible as revealed to Joseph Smith June 1830-1831’. However, Joseph Smith had no original manuscript from which to ‘translate’. Why the continuation of King James English? Much of the Joseph Smith’s other translation of the Bible, as annotated, amounts to minor run-of-the-mill corrections, but the Book of Moses is more a chunky plagiarism of the early Bible. esias
The words of God, which he spake unto Moses at a time when Moses was caught up into an exceedingly high mountain. Moses 1:1
Moses 1:5: Moses gasbags mano-a-Godo: ‘the glory of God was upon Moses; therefore he could endure his presence’. esias
This is immediately contradicted: ‘and no man can behold all my glory, and afterwards remain in the flesh upon the earth’. (v5) esias
Moses 1:11 Joseph likes a bit of poetic variation at v11: ‘but not my natural, but my spiritual eyes, for my natural eyes could not have beheld’. A canny idea is born: gold plates, threats and witnesses with spiritual eyes. esias
Moses Chapter 2 rehashes the Genesis creation story. This is God claiming to have created the Earth and the Heavens (not through agency by the hand of his son Jesus).
Again we see the claim in v10 that: ‘and I, God, saw that all things that I had made were good’. Disease, death and wasps burrowing through children’s eyeballs do not count. Why would God wish to give us a dull rehash of the creation story, and not some new useful information like, ‘Beware of a bloke called Hitler?’ The obvious answer is that plagiarism of the early Bible is easier for Joseph Smith than invention of new revelation. esias
Moses 2:5 God spins the line, ‘it was done as I spake’, contradicting the temple script that God had to receive progress reports from the earth-builders. esias
Moses Chapter 3: One of the four rivers of the Garden of Eden was in Ethiopia (v13), the second river towards the east of Assyria, and the fourth was the Euphrates. So not in America then. The same deception with the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (a bit of imagery) and the same deceptive promise that to eat of the tree is to die. The same underling role for a woman. Nice. esias
Moses 4:3 Our fascist God makes the puzzling claim that man has agency; but commandments made under the threat of Hell is not agency, nor is the agency free. A contract made under duress is not a valid contract. Or covenant as God likes to call it. God kicks off the human race with an act of deception that the standard for God’s duplicitous relationship with his former children, now servants. esias
Moses Chapter 5: A barbaric God commands Adam to offer animal sacrifice of the firstlings of flocks. In v14 ‘the Lord God calls upon men by the Holy Ghost everywhere’, contradicting the sometime Mormon belief that Adam = Michael = The Holy Ghost. In v29 Satan commands Cain to ‘Swear unto me by thy throat ... for if they tell it, they shall surely die’, aping the Mormon temple ceremony. v51 sounds like a description of Mormonism: ‘For, from the days of Cain, there was a secret combination, and their words were in the dark, and they knew every man his brother’ (except ‘knew’ here may refer to universal homosexuality). In v40 a curse is placed on Cain, but the curse is not specified. The Lord pledges that whosoever shall slay Cain shall be cursed sevenfold, thus establishing a pattern of threats and injustice between similar crimes. In v59 God promises Adam that the Gospel shall be preached in the world ‘until the end thereof’. God passes the opportunity to outline what this Gospel is, and the inference is that the Gospel shall be preached continually. esias
Moses 6:29 outlines God’s reserved fate for his own children, or as George Carlin put it – God loves you so much He wants to send you to Hell: ‘and a hell have I prepared for them, if they repent not’; in v31 Enoch complains ‘all the people hate me; for I am slow of speech’ (the unappreciated prophet is a clichéd theme). In v35 Enoch anoints his eyes with clay (in a Jesus stylie!) to view the spirits that God has created. In v55 the Lord makes the remarkable claim that ‘children are born in sin’, and again in v56 that ‘they are agents unto themselves’. (So why the need for the bullying and threats?) esias
