On the morning of July 7th Mac Brazel, Major Marcel and Captain Cavitt were back at the Foster ranch to investigate the debris field. Marcel and Cavitt collected material all afternoon, filled their vehicles and made their way back to Roswell Army Air Field. On the way Marcel stopped by his home late that night. He woke up his wife and son, Jesse Junior, to share with them what he had found. He took a few pieces of debris into the house spread them out on the kitchen floor. ‘This is something very special,’ he said to his son. ‘It doesn’t come from this world.
