Strings of light appearing in the sky are a common UFO phenomenon. One of the best known cases occurred in Phoenix Arizona in 1997. Seen by hundreds if not thousands of people, the Phoenix Lights are one of the best documented string-of-lights sightings. What makes Kokomo different is the terrifying booming noise. ibid.
