But folks I have to tell you in the bullshit department a businessman can’t hold a candle to a clergyman. Because when it comes to bullshit, bigtime major-league bullshit, you have to stand in awe – in awe – of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims – Religion. No contest. Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people, many of them adults, that there’s an invisible man who lives in the sky and watches everything they do, every minute of every day, and has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send You to remain and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever to the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money. He always needs money. He is all-powerful, all perfect, all-knowing and all-wise, somehow he just can’t handle money. Religion takes in billions of dollars, pays no taxes and somehow they always need a little more. Now you talk about a good bullshit story – holy shit! George Carlin, Napalm and Silly Putty audio
I make fun of people who are religious because I think they are fundamentally weak. But I want you to know that on a personal level when it comes to believing in God I tried. I mean I really really tried. I tried to believe that there’s a God who created us in his own image, loves us very much, then keeps a close eye on things. I tried to believe it. But I gotta tell you, the longer you live, and the more you look around, the more you realise something is fucked up. Something is wrong. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed. Results like these do not belong on the resume of a supreme being. This is the kind of stuff you’d expect from the office temp with a bad attitude. In any well managed universe this guy would have been out on his all-powerful ass a long time ago. So if there is a God, if there is, I think reasonable people might agree he is at least incompetent and maybe, just maybe, he doesn’t give a shit. Which I admire in a person. And which would explain a lot of his results. George Carlin, More Napalm & Silly Putty
If we could just find out who’s in charge, we could kill him. George Carlin
A god who is even more powerful than Baal - the god El ... A religious reality disguised in the Bible: for El is also the god of the ancient Israelites – El is God. And the evidence is there for anyone to see. Dr Francesca Stavrakopoulou, Bible’s Buried Secrets 2/3: Did God Have A Wife? BBC 2008
In the Bible God reveals his proper name – his name is Yaweh ... But the reality is he wasn’t always known as Yaweh. God used to be known by another name. A name still embedded in this part of the world today. A name that contradicts the Biblical claim that its god of monotheism is unique and distinct. ibid.
Is El of the Israelites the same as El of the Canaanites? El can be used as a generic term for God. Much like we use the word God today ... But there are also lots of cases where it is being used as an actual name. (God & Bible & Old Testament & Gods & Elohim) ibid.
I think He was a Canaanite god. ibid.
The Bible makes yet another false claim – the claim that apart from a few lapses the ancient Israelites were essentially true to one God. Evidence now casts serious doubt on this claim. ibid.
Each god was responsible for his or her patch of earthly affairs. Amongst these gods was of course the weather-god Baal. ibid.
A female counterpart, a goddess ... It’s the word Asherah. The word is found forty times ... But why is the Bible so unsettled by this apparent object? ... Archaeology now shows us that Asherah wasn’t always an object. ibid.
Asherah’s role is of a life-giving goddess. ibid.
The Tree of Life was frequently used to represent the goddess. ibid.
All across Israel, in almost every excavation of ancient domestic buildings, archaeologists are unearthing female figurines. ibid.
The Israelites were polytheists. And God had a wife. ibid.
A systematic purge of polytheism: traces of this purge can be detected in polemical stories in the Bible itself. Stories in which Yahweh takes on the other gods in a celestial war. ibid.
Judaism and Christianity are proud of their monotheistic pedigree ... This history has been skilfully manufactured by the scribes who composed these ancient texts. The claims that Abraham and his descendants worshipped a unique and distinctive God just don’t stand up. The truth about the Bible is that for most of its time its people were polytheists. And their chief God had a wife. ibid.
In toppling the goddess from Heaven, monotheism disempowered women. ibid.
The supposition that elohim is to be regarded as merely a remnant of earlier polytheistic views (i.e. as originally only a numerical plural) is at least highly improbable, and, moreover, would not explain the analogous plurals (below). To the same class (and probably formed on the analogy of elohim) belong the plurals kadoshim, meaning ‘the Most Holy’ (only of Yahweh, Hosea 12:1, Proverbs 9:10, 30:3 (cf. El hiym kadoshim in Joshua 24:19 and the singular Aramaic ‘the Most High’, Daniel 7:18, 22, 25); and probably teraphim (usually taken in the sense of penates) the image of a god, used especially for obtaining oracles. Certainly in 1 Samuel 19:13, 16 only one image is intended; in most other places a single image may be intended; in Zechariah 10:2 alone is it most naturally taken as a numerical plural. Wilhelm Gesenius, Hebrew Grammar
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Exodus 3:14
I revealed myself to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El of the Wilderness, but was not known to them by my name, Yahweh. Exodus 6:2&3
These clay tablets told the history of the Sumerian empire; an empire which was formed by invading aliens called the Anunnaki ... The Sumerian clay tablets described the Anunnaki aliens genetically manipulating mankind and creating a hybrid race of alien-reptilian-humans who became known as the Nephilim. The Nephilim are also known as the Elohim in the Bible. This was a genetically-created race of rulers which had their human DNA mixed with that of the invading Anunnaki aliens. References to this race of alien-hybrid rulers can be found in ancient texts from around the planet. Chris Everard, Secret Space II
Reptiles have always been associated with a race of hidden masters. Many occult traditions which are related to the birth of freemasonry speak of the hidden masters. Some occult historians and authors claim that a group of hidden masters control world international freemasonry. Ancient Masonic texts suggest that these hidden masters are in actual fact alien spirits from another world. Some Masonic texts say that the secrets of how to control and influence society and politics from behind the scenes was passed to the elite of freemasonry from a race of reptilian aliens who invaded planet Earth and landed in ancient Iraq more than 12,500 years ago. ibid.
The Anunnaki alien star-gods were often shown holding pine-cones. The Vatican’s most famous icons also hold pine-cones acknowledging the Anunnaki brotherhood ... The Vatican uses Ancient Anunnaki and Babylonian symbolism in all its ceremonies ... Britain is full of symbols of the Anunnaki reptilian brotherhood. ibid.
The Pharaoh said that when you pray to God you must pray through the son of God: Amen-Ra. Because he represented God. And at the end of the prayer in the ancient temples of Egypt they would say Amen. Derek Partridge, The Naked Truth
In ancient Egypt the goddess Isis was the personification of wisdom. Pharaoh Akhenaten changed the worship to himself as he proclaimed himself Amen-Ra, the sun-god. The word Amen at the end of a prayer spawned from the praise given to Amen-Ra. From there the Hebrews left Egypt and travelled north to the Middle East where they encountered the Canaanites who worshipped the god of Saturn – El. The merging of these three gods became the name of the land today which is known – Isis – Ra – EL or Israel. 90% of Judaism is based around the worship of Saturn. Ben Stewart, Esoteric Agenda, 2008
