There’s some CNN footage that shows the whole side of the plane lighting up. And just as the aircraft is penetrating the World Trade Centre there’s this bright anomalous event. It’s like an orange flash off to the right of the fuselage. ibid.

All the recorded sources, all the different photographic evidence that was produced by CNN and ABC – they all show this pod. It’s there. You can see it with your own eyes. And in my professional opinion there was a pod attached to the bottom of that aircraft, and therefore it was not United Airlines Flight 175. It appeared to me that there was something on the under-fuselage of that aircraft that did not belong there, at least not with a commercial airliner. I have looked at the films of the plane hitting the South Tower and I have seen the slow-downed version and it is obvious to me that on more than two or three of these films there is a flash of some sort that takes place just as these planes are about to smack into the buildings.
