Over a thousand years ago an ancient people built a thriving metropolis that dominated an entire continent.  It was bigger than either medieval London or Paris.  But this mighty city was not in Europe, it was in North America and it was built five hundred years before Columbus arrived.  At the heart of their city they built a pyramid to rival those of ancient Egypt.  Yet this vast settlement remains one of the most astonishing mysteries of western archaeology.  An ancient city that vanished as suddenly as it had arrived.  So what happened?  America’s Hidden Pyramid City: Ancient Mysteries, Channel 5 2017
